Description
An empty reproduction box for the Matchbox Lesney 61 b Alvis Stalwart.
The six wheeled Alvis Stalwart with its distinctive white body, yellow canopy and 6 wheels is a great model.
There are two main variants, the common green hub model and the less common yellow hub model. A military version in olive green paint was issued as a part of a two-pack series. It was introduced in 1966 and ran until 1971 with its regular wheels.
In 1978 it was re-introduced briefly with wide Superfast wheels in its military colours.
Replacement tyres are also available.
A replacement yellow plastic canopy is also available.
