Description

Micro Models / Brentoy Austin Tanker Truck Box in Mobil Petrol livery. The original box was a 'factory error' in that the text incorrectly described it as a 'Petrol Bowser' rather than a tanker. This is what the box should have or could have looked like if it had been correctly identified.

This casting was a Brentoy model when first made in the 1950's. Later the moulds ended up with the New Zealand owner of the Micro Models moulds and they planned to issue the Austin Tanker and made many castings which have since been collected and many Code 3 liveries have been created by a variety of Australian and New Zealand collectors.
