Description

Micro Models / Brentoy Austin Tanker Truck Box reproduction box for the never released Mobil Petrol livery. This box was a 'factory error' in that the text incorrectly described it as a 'Petrol Bowser' rather than a tanker. 

This casting was a Brentoy model when first made in the 1950's. Later the moulds ended up with the New Zealand owner of the Micro Models moulds and they planned to issue the Austin Tanker and made many castings which have since been collected and many Code 3 liveries have been created by a variety of Australian and New Zealand collectors.
