Description

A pack of 4 tyres to suit Matchbox Lesney racing cars with wire spoke hubs. These models, like the ones shown, metal wire spoke hubs with the same tyre all around. Models include 19 c Aston Martin, 52 a Maserati, and 73 b Ferrari. Note that the Maserati was issued in red with black solid wheels which does not use these tyres and the later yellow model with wire wheels which does use these ones. 

The models are for display purposes only and are not for sale or included in this. Individual tyres are also available. The tyre ref Y096 under Tyres->Matchbox.

Note that the plastic hubs are prone to shrinking over time and these tyres are made to fit hubs with some shrinkage. So they may be tight or loose depending on your hubs. Use a drop of super glue if loose and a piece of emery paper on the ID of the tyre if they are tight. Warm water also helps to heat the tyre and hub during fitting.
