Matchbox Lesney Yesteryear  5 b 1929 4.5Lt Bentley Empty Repro D1 Style Box.

A reproduction box for the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-5b 1929 4.5 Litre "Blower" Bentley.

This model is the one of the later releases from 1962 although the Le Mans Bentley Y-5a is similar they are distinct models.

This box suits the model with a Union Jack flag in addition to the racing number 5 on the sides. The rear tonneau cover and seats are plastic moulded while the  earlier Y-5a is an all metal casting.

This box style is the fourth issue D1 style YesterYear box with the model now in full colour rather than the earlier line drawing styles.

The headline banner changes slightly with the test being a heavier block format of the Old West font style.
