A reproduction box for the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-1 The Allchin 7-N.H.P Steam Traction Engine.

This model is the first of the original releases from 1956. Note that the correct name of the maker is Allchin with double 'L' and not Alchin with a single 'L'. The error is consistent across all the box issues with the end flaps showing as Alchin but the rear panel being correct as Allchin.

This box style is the fourth issue D1 style YesterYear box with the model now in full colour rather than the earlier line drawing styles.

The headline banner changes slightly with the test being a heavier block format of the Old West font style.

The rear face continues to have a brief history of the vehicle.
