Description
The Quarry Truck style model is another long running production models in the Matchbox series.
Commencing with this small 52mm model with with orange body and grey tipper, the model was updated and redone until the last of the 6c models in 1968.
This reproduction box suits the earliest of the production run.
The models that appeared between 1953 and 1954 were the first releases of Lesney Matchbox products through the Moko distribution company.
Earlier models had been done, but these were the first Matchbox.
Only 7 models were issued in this A type box. Commonly known as the 'Script' boxes due to the word Moko being in a cursive script.
