Description

The Matchbox Lesney 73 d Mercury 1968 Commuter Wagon was originally released with regular wheels and the Autosteer feature.  This box is for the model with the later issue Superfast wheel version. It also suits the 73 e version with the raised roof section at the rear. The casting was changed to show raised bars like a roof rack in the rear half of the roof.

This is the G style Repro Box for the first Superfast issue of this model.

Other issues with Regular and Superfast wheels are available in the early F style and later F-SF2 style boxes.
