Most often we provide repairs and repainting for models supplied by you. However some childhood memories are long gone and you may like us to track down a replacement for that particular toy that you enjoyed so much, or to replicate your first real car! We generally hold over a thousand models in our wrecking yard with some models suitable for restoration and others just for parts. Where we do not have a model that is suitable we will need to source one from somewhere. Often this is a complex exercise and as a result we have put a charge on this. So what is this service? It is a cost to cover time spent searching and obtaining a diecast model suitable for restoration as the toy or dream car that you desire. It does not include the cost of the actual model that may vary from a $10 cheapie to several hundred dollars for something extremely rare. However in all cases we will establish a budget for your dream toy and confirm with you all the details before proceeding. Generally this service is for restorations and there will be additional services such as restoration and painting required in addition to this sourcing fee.
